Model African Union
Description
Providing an academic simulation of the African Union that aims to educate participants about current African events, diplomacy, and the African Union agenda. Participants will role-play as delegates representing an African nation and will advocate for the represented country's interest in a simulated session of a committee of the African Union, such as the Technical Committee on Social Matters or the General Assembly. Participants will research a country, take on roles as delegates, investigate intra-African issues, debate, deliberate, consult, and then develop Pan-African solutions to problems facing the continent.
